Our good old trophy, the Sleipnisbikarinn, was picked up yesterday and started its journey to Landsmót Hestamanna, where it will be awarded to Álfaklettur frá Syðri-Gegnishólum.

We are building up a big Market tent at the Landsmót area here in Viðidalur. Its the perfect place to stop by when you are on your way to Hvammsvöllur, the main track. There is a big variety of riding clothes, horse tack, handcraft and much more.

The timed table of the tournament is ready! The four-year-old class of mares are the first in the track at the Landsmót in Reykjavík 2024, on Monday, July 1 at 8:00. Children's class starts at 8:30 am at Hvammsvellir, and after them the contestants in B-class ride on the track at 1:30 pm. The program can be seen below as well as in the selection bar above under "Program".

Great news for Icelandic horse enthusiasts! Alendis Streaming Service will live stream every moment of Landsmót 2024 from July 1st to July 7th. This premier event showcases Iceland's finest horses and riders in a spectacular festival of equestrian excellence.

Shows of breeding farms have a place of honor at Landsmot Hestamanna, and at LM2024 there will be no change in that. The shows will be arranged in a similar format as in recent tournaments, i.e. that participation will be limited to 10 farms. The breeding farms are on the program of the tournament on Friday evening, July 5, and the audience will be invited to choose the best breeding farm.

At Landsmot Hestamanna, a varied entertainment program will be offered where you will be able to experience authentic Icelandic horselife, music and entertainment. The best of Icelandic musicians will attend the national tournament and keep the atmosphere buzzing among the guests.

Due to a large number of inquiries, the price list of the campsite has been updated to meet the needs of those who want to stay at the campsite for less than a week.
