Members of the press
With this form, members of the press can request accreditation for Landsmót hestamanna in Reykjavík 1 – 7 July 2024. According to this accreditation form, the Landsmót‘s organisation decides whether or not to accept the accreditation request. That is why it is important to fill in the form as comprehensively as possible. Only holder of a press pass, will be allowed access to the media center on the Landsmót area and the press manager and her staff will make sure that the press passes are beeing used in appropriate way during the event.
LM2024 ehf. calls special attention of all Press Pass recipients to the following: LM2024 ehf. has entered into exclusive contracts regarding television broadcasting rights for the Landsmót 2024 event. All video recording by holders of Press passes and other guests, as well as any public display of such recordings from the event is prohibited, whether such public display is via internet media or by television broadcast, regardless of whether such broadcast is live or delayed. However, parties such as internet media are authorized to broadcast short video recordings in connection with public reporting from the event. Such video recording broadcasts may not exceed 90 seconds in total duration.
All other recordings for own use are prohibited, unless explicitly permitted in writing by LM2024 ehf. upon written request in advance. In the event that a video recording is broadcasted under such prior granted permission, the name or the logo of the broadcast party that has been granted exclusive rights by Landsmót hestamanna shall be displayed if technically possible. Such permission is only valid for use while the video recording is considered newsworthy, and prolonged use of the recording is not permitted. LM2024 ehf. will monitor any unauthorized video recordings of the event during the event. Any breach by a holder of a Press Pass of the above shall result in the provocation of granted Press Passes and Press privileges, and the party in breach shall be made to vacate the Event grounds immediately.
Please note that media passes are only for those who are going to work on and transfer news from the event. Also note that only a certain number of photographers will be allowed inside the competition track at any time and the rules concerning that matter, will be determined by the board of Landsmót and made public at the Landsmót grounds in Reykjavik.
On the grounds, LM2024 ehf. provides Media Center for all those with a valid media pass from Landsmót hestamanna 2024. There will be a wireless internet connection, tables and chairs for journalists/photographers and hot coffee. LM2024 ehf. will not take any responsibility for computers or other equipment that may be left behind in the Media Center.
If your application is approved, your press pass and a ticket will be waiting for you at the entrance to Landsmót.
